Discipleship

We all have the desire to grow in our spiritual lives, but for most of us, the “how to do it” often eludes us. Most of us would call ourselves disciples of Jesus, but really couldn’t define what a disciple is or what one looks like.

Jesus said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19-20

A Disciple can be described as, “an authentic follower of Jesus Christ, who is in a process of becoming more like Christ...seeking in everything to glorify the Father.”
